At 54, Greek-Kenyan fine artist Theodora Stone’s work is amazing and entrancing. She is proficient, as depicted in varied designs she paints on delicate ostrich eggs. A visit to her home in Nairobi is like taking a walk through an exclusive museum that displays rare works of art. Hanging on her sitting room wall, is a beautiful painting created with banana plant fibers. “I have painted birds, underwater marine life, Maasai community besides other African themes. I live my dream, and I wouldn’t exchange this for anything," she says. Theo’s paintings can also be found in Kenyan airports and numerous hotels along the Kenyan coastline.
