About the artist
Kenyan artist, Alex Mbugua is a graduate in graphics & textile designs. He has also studied screen-printings, interior and external decorations. His work has been showcased at numerous solo and group exhibitions, both locally and internationally. His subjects are diverse, and portray his community’s social activities. “I am inspired by African women in our society”, he says. He works with oil or assorted colors and mixed media.
