A Little About Me

My work mainly captures the human form in abstract. I work mainly in wood (my first 3D medium), stone and recently metal. I have of late been combining the media together. Recently I have also tried my hand in wood-cut prints, which i have enjoyed so far and is seriously taking up.

My most recent pieces are titled elders. The series started in 2004 Oct when I had my first solo show at the Contemporary Gallery of East African Art at the National Museums of Kenya. The first of the series were in stone, followed by wood and lately in metal.

I have had extensive exhibitions both locally and internationally, the recent one, an East African wood-cut print exhibition at the GoDown Arts Center Gallery.
