^{My early artistic influences were Norman Rockwell and later David Shepherd}

^{I studied under the tutelage of Pakistani artist Mohammed Rafiq who worked with My late Dad as a mural and publicity artist in the mid 80's.}

^{In 1989, i joined a packaging company, Carnaudmetalbox as a Graphic artist, during this time I studied graphic design at the Kenya Polytechnic College.}

^{In 1997, I left the company and pursued art as a career.}
