Keeping Films for Children and Youth in Focus

Lola Kenya Screen, an annual international film festival, production workshop and market for children and youth in eastern Africa, is looking for children and youth living in Nairobi and its environs, and who are knowledgeable, opinionated and interested in film, journalism, and cultural events’ presentation to serve on her four programmes during the 3rd Lola Kenya Screen (August 4-9, 2008).
- Film Selection Committee - Film jury - Film Press - Programme Presentation (MCs) - Film Production Workshop - Aged 6-16 years old (9-18 years in case of production workshop) - Knowledgeable about film - Interested in audiovisual works - Able to understand, speak and write in English - Supported by their parents/guardians - Able to work under strict journalistic deadlines - Able to think, type and submit 500-1200-word articles daily (August 3-10, 2008) Selected Applicants will serve as members of: Applicants must be:
