^{The Kenya Copyright Board has accepted to fully sponsor a one day workshop for published visual artists (photographers, illustrators/cartoonists and graphic designers).}

^{Time:              0900 to 1700 hours}

^{Expected participants: 40 max.}

^{Theme: Provide an opportunity for the rights holders within the visual arts sector to learn more about legal and institutional framework for the protection, management and enforcement of their rights.}

^{Panel of speakers: Experts from the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), the Kenya Copyright Board and KAPIDE.}

^Topics: 

^{1.         Copyright and Related Rights in Kenya}

^{2.         Management of rights in the visual arts}

^{3.         An overview of visual arts in Kenya}

^{4.         Round-table discussions and way forward}
