About the artist

Beth, a kenyan born painter articulates that her inspiration is drawn largely from her rich African culture. "I tend to paint maasais quite a lot as their culture is so unique", she says. She also adds that Impressionists like Paul Cezanne, Gaugan, Renoir, Monet and Picasso were her first encounters with art whereby she'd copy their artistic styles. This is what she says eventually helped to shape her own individual style.
